ABSTRACT:China is a large agricultural country and the" three rural" issue has been the focus of social concern. But in the 21st century , especially after joining in the WTO, China's rural and agricultural development has entered a new situation. Traditional agriculture is facing a severe test, with slow income growth of farmers and urban-rural income gap. How to develop the rural economy has become a major economic issue.
Rural finance , as an important part of modern finance , is an important resource allocation and plays a vital role in the development of rural and agricultural economy. On the one hand, rural economic growth is inseparable from effective financial support. For our current situation of rural economic development, rural economic growth requires a lot of capital accumulation and re-invest, directly or indirectly dependent on the development and support of rural finance. On the other hand, for a series of reforms of rural economy, rural finance reform has been a bit backward. Rural financial development does not meet the effective demand of economic growth in rural areas , even to some extent, hinders the growth of rural economy.
How does rural financial development affect economic growth in rural areas ?In this paper, empirical analysis method is studied on this topic. In addition, I also try to put forward a series of solutions and policy recommendations. This study is also of significance for the theory and practice of China's rural financial development and rural economic growth.
