Abstract:This paper intends to find out as many influential factors as possible on parent-role-fulfillment. Final results of this work are based on lots of previously related documents and papers and more importantly an open questionnaire to a group of suitable parents. In the experiment, the parent-role-fulfillment consists of 5 dimensions: recognition to the parent role, the feelings during raising a child, other roles’ influences, influences on self development, and the performance of their child/children. According to the test results, parents prone to be more contented when the performance of the child/children score is high, and it seems that parents are more likely to get satisfaction in this dimension.
Then, the possible factors like gender, age, profession, and education level of the parents, are taken respectively to a 2-independent-samples T test, a one-way ANOVA and a Kruskal-Wallis test. The outcomes show that: father and mother each has a distinct influence on the performance of their child/children. Different children numbers in a family result in different self development and children performance. The grade in which children attend has a great difference in recognition to the parent role, other roles’ influences and the feelings during raising a child. Relationship of he couples affects the other roles’ influences. The researcher analyses the experiment outcomes and then puts forward some suggestions。
