Abstract:As the policy of reformation and opening of China, the trend of economic integration made more and more foreign corporations enter China. These foreign companies need applied people who both know English and business. But now, many business English major of universities put particular emphasis on English language and business knowledge, but neglect students’ ability. We should develop students to be talented people who own the ability to use English to do the business and analyze and solve problems. Author introducing Case-Study method into business English major can achieve the goal. First, this dissertation will introduce the definition of Case-Study method and its theoretical basis. Then, it will describe questions of traditional business English teaching mode, and expound the Case-Study method’s necessity and feasibility in the business English major. Author will lay special stress on how to implement the Case-Study method in the business English major. At last, a practical example will be narrated to show the process of applying case-study method to business spoken English teaching.

摘要:随着中国改革开放的政策,经济一体化的趋势使越来越多的外国企业进入中国。这些外国企业需要既掌握英语又了解商务的专业人才。但是在目前,许多大学的商务英语教学重点强调英语和商务知识,却忽视了学生的实际口语能力。我们应当把学生培养成有能力使用英语进行商务分析和解决问题的专业人才。本文作者引进了案例教学法到商务英语口语教学。首先,介绍了案例教学法的定义和它的理论基础。然后,描述了传统商务英语口语教学模式存在的问题并解释了案例学习方法在商务英语口语的必要性。作者重点强调如何在商务英语口语教学中实施案例教学法。最后,作者用案例来阐述把案例教学法运用到商务英语口语教学中的过程。
