Abstract: With the enforcement of " set up a nationwide primary school English teaching programs in China since 2001 gradually " by the Education Ministry , both urban and rural primary schools have set up English courses to follow-up and implementation of the policies. But through my survey I found that the qualities of English teaching in primary schools is uneven: Some primary schools did not set up English classes; some primary school have English teachers but their qualities are questionable; and even some schools encourage students to participate in certain English classes only in that students could learn English knowledge there. As the varying levels of the English teaching in primary school , middle school teaching facing lots of problems. Especially middle school teaching materials have changed to "Go for it", how to do a good job in both primary and middle school is a serious problem in primary school and middle school English teaching cohesion. In this paper,according to the situation of English teaching in primary and middle schools in our city, I will discuss the problems exsisting in primary and junior high school English teaching cohesion and then found some solutions.

摘要:随着教育部颁布的“我国从2001年开始将在全国范围内逐步开设小学英语”的政策的贯彻和实施,从城市到农村的小学均开设了英语课程。但调查发现,现在小学英语教学的质量参差不齐:有的小学还没开设英语课;有的小学开设了英语课老师却力不从心;有的学校甚至鼓励学生参加兴趣班才会教学生英语知识; 由于师资、城乡、地区的差异,小学生的英语水平参差不齐,也给初中的教学带来一定的问题。特别是初中教材改为《新目标》“Go for it”后,如何做好中小学英语教学的衔接是中小学英语教师所面临的严重问题。本文结合我市中小学英语教学情况,从各个方面论述了影响小学和初中英语教学衔接因素的产生及解决对策。
