Abstract:This article is about the research of applying situation approach to the teaching of English for junior middle school students. The focuses have been on working out of the methods of effective situation creating in the classroom. Situation Language Teaching focuses on the creating of effective situation for students in the classroom, which makes learning not only easier, but also full of fun. Further, Situational Language Teaching lays extreme importance on the quality of both input and output in the classroom, which guarantee that students have enough exposure to language in the class. The thesis starts with the literature survey of the definition and development of situation teaching. It then surveys some related theories to support the idea of applying situation approach to the teaching of English for junior middle school students.

中文摘要:本文是关于运用情景于初中英语教学的研究。情景教学的重点在于在课堂上创设有效情景,使学习变得简单、更有趣。情景教学尤其注重课堂的输入和输出这两个环节,以保证学生能大量接触语言。本文从情景教学的定义和发展研究开始,再找出相关的理论支持,重点放在情景创设的方法上,最后一部分阐释了在教学环节中如何实施的问题。
