This thesis aims to prove that empathy is the foundation for translators to comprehend the original poem, and to enter the spiritual world of the poet and experience complex changes of sentiments. It is also a key for translators to represent the spirit and soul of the original poem. Rhyme scheme is a key carrier to express the poets’ emotions, so translators should use different rhyme schemes to represent the sound beauty of the original poem. Culture-loaded words contain poet’s abundant feelings, so translators should totally understanding the information in culture-loaded words of the original text, which help the target language readers understand the meanings and feelings of poet.
