Abstract
The purpose of listening teaching in schools is to train pupils to obtain more information by listening. Listening is mainly about the understanding and reception of information. In daily life, people can listen to others and communicate with others. For primary school students, listening, speaking, reading, writing these four parts are their key to learn English. And "listening" in these four parts and occupies a very important position. The whole primary school stage, but also the basic period of primary school students to learn English, primary school students in English listening level as a whole is still very weak. From my survey of primary school students, 60% of students think that listening is more difficult, because in the process of listening, the speed is too fast, they lack of vocabulary, and they can not correctly grasp the pronunciation of the word. From these problems, teachers in the primary English listening teaching should continue to study to improve their own requirements, pay attention to primary school students "listening" training, to further improve the listening ability of primary school students. Only to improve listening, for primary school students say, read, write only better development.
