Abstract
George Gordon Byron(1788—1824)was one of the greatest romantic poets in Britain in the early 19th century. Don Juan is considered the pinnacle of Byron's poetry. It is a magnificent excellent artistic narrative poem which is rare in the history of British literature and European literature. It is common that authors put their emotions as well as their experiences into their works. In Don Juan, Byron put his opinions about love, revolution and life into the main character. Therefore there are many similarities between Byron and Don Juan, for example, the dissolute character, the revolutionary opposability, and the similar views of women.
