Abstract
The stream of consciousness To the Lighthouse is one of the most successful works of Virginia Woolf. This thesis analyzes Woolf’s feminist thoughts with a focus on her representative work-To the Lighthouse. Virginia Woolf is a very famous feminist critic all over the world, the equality between men and women is the most basic idea of feminism. She is the forerunner of the British stream of consciousness novels. And by applying the technique of stream of consciousness to the works, there is a close connection between Woolf’s feminism thoughts and her writing technique-stream of consciousness.
