Abstract:As the master of satirists, during the 18th century, the British author Jonathan Swift became the pioneer of the satire literature in Britain even in the world, with his excellent satire writing style. His words dare to mock the social politic and the black side of the British society, which imply his powerful sense of social responsibility, the opposition to wars and the sympathy of the Irish living situation. This paper will analyze how it satires in different volumes, to exposes the kinds of aspects of British society, such as politics, religion, scientific research, humanity and colonialism etc.
