Abstract
What is known to all is that English is a language popular all over the world. English, as a tool for communication in the business world, has played an important role, especially oral English. Therefore, professional talents with excellent English proficiency are greatly needed in all walks of life in modern society. The fact is, however, the English competence,especially the oral English competence of junior students is not as good as expected. The teaching method remains the leading factor resulting in it. This results from the lack of both teacher-student communication and student-student communication. Interaction between teachers and students in class of junior middle school is obviously important. Therefore, this thesis is to study the methods to promote interaction and its application in oral English. It consists of 6 parts. The first part is an introduction. The author analyzes the current situation of oral English teaching in junior middle school. Then the author analyzes the research both in China and foreign countries, as well as the characteristics and advantages of interactive teaching method, the author further analyzes its application on oral English teaching in junior middle school.
