Abstract: With the quick growth of global economy, many Chinese products are flooding into the markets of western countries and become popular in daily life. At the same time, as one of the necessary part of a product, the product manual is becoming more and more important in our shopping process. So a successful product manual can not only provide a boost to consumption, but also improve the enterprise culture. But now, the product manual’ C-E translation has been paid only a few thesis attention. So we can know the people pay little attention on it, we should think highly of this phenomenon. In the article, skopos theory, which is a new thesis, will be introduced and used emphatically , which provides a brand new perspective for practical translation. Judging from the view of skopos theory, a good product manual should be in accordance with the fidelity rule, the skopos rule, and the coherence rule.
