Abstract:With the innovation of network technique and the rapid development of network culture, Chinese network buzzwords, as a new form of language, have been more and more widely developed in Internet media and become an important part of people's network life. At the same time, network buzzwords with Chinese characteristics are also emerging. Because of reflecting the new social things to a great extent, they are not only popular in the virtual world, but also affect the language forms in real life.
There have been many studies on the translation of network buzzwords in domestic translation circles, among which there are surely profound insights, but few research has been made from the perspective of ecological environment. On the basis of previous studies, this paper, based on the eco-translatology theory and combined with specific Chinese network buzzwords, analyzes the present situation and existing problems of translating Chinese network buzzwords into English, and probes into the translation strategies of Chinese network buzzwords under this theory, in order to provide some practical suggestions for the Chinese Network Buzzwords' English translation and promote the Internet cultural communication.

中文摘要:随着网络互联网技术的革新以及网络文化的迅猛发展,作为一种新的语言形式,汉语网络流行语在互联网媒体中的使用越来越广泛,并且逐渐变成人们互联网生活中的一个不可或缺的部分,与此同时,具有中国特色的汉语网络流行语也层出不穷,鉴于其在很大程度上准确地描绘了社会的新事物,因此其不但在网络社会中被广泛使用,而且也影响了现实生活的语言形式。词汇作为跨文化交际活动的载体,是语言中最具有活力的元素,因此如何将这些网络流行词汇贴切地、地道地翻译成英语,以便于跨文化沟通及传播能够有效且顺利地进行着实重要。
如今国内外翻译界对网络流行语的英译策略均有不少研究,这其中不乏精深的见地,但是鲜有从生态翻译学视角出发开展相关研究。本文拟从生态翻译学的视角,参照前人的研究,结合具体的汉语网络流行语,分析汉语网络流行语的英译现状及存在的问题,从而探讨该理论下汉语网络流行语的英译策略,以期为网络流行语的英译提供一些实践性建议。
