摘要:超高分子量聚乙烯(UHMWPE)是一种具有优异耐磨性和耐冲击性,卓越的化学稳定性和耐应力开裂性的热塑性工程塑料。但其易燃和绝缘的特点限制了它的应用领域,因此对UHMWPE进行阻燃、抗静电改性十分必要。使用导电炭黑(CB)作为抗静电剂,随着CB的加入,UHMWPE的导电性能提高,力学性能变化不大。使用可膨胀石墨(EG)作为阻燃剂,随着EG的加入,UHMWPE的阻燃性能提高,同时力学性能下降。阻燃、抗静电改性后UHMWPE的氧指数可提高到24%,体积电阻率下降到3.4×104Ω·cm,实现了阻燃、抗静电的目的。

Abstract:Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) is a thermoplastic with excellent resistance to wear and impact, and is proved being chemical and stress cracking stable. However, UHMWPE is characterized as highly inflammable and insulate. Hence, converting UHMWPE to be inflaming retarding and antistatic is quite necessary. With the addition of the CB, the electrical property of UHMWPE is increased and there is little change in the mechanical properties. With the addition of the expandable graphite, the UHMWPE turns to be inflaming, while the loss of the mechanical properties was obvious. The oxygen indexes of the composite is improved to 24%, and the volume resistivity reduces to 3.4×104Ω·cm, meeting the requirements of inflaming retarding and antistatic.
