摘要:方言俗语历来主要是靠口头传承的,历史上少有记载和研究专著。叶调元的《汉口竹枝词》以书面形式保留下了大量武汉方言俗语,在大部分已消失、替代的今天,对我们研究武汉地区方言留下了宝贵的财富,同时对现代人把握这些方言俗语的字义、字音、记录不准、用字无据,使创作具有鲜明地方色彩等,都具有重大参考价值。本文参照《武汉方言词典》(江苏教育出版社1995年),此外,还选取了未被《武汉方言词典》收入二保存于武汉民众口头的方言词语,对照《汉口竹枝词》(初刻于1850年。据徐明庭、马昌松校注本,湖北人民出版社1985)原文,截取小段文字为例,以证所见。

Abstract:There are few records and studies in the history about dialect and proverb, because they come down by speaking language. Hankouzhuji Poetry that was written by Tiaoyuan Ye, records a lot of dialect of Wuhan on paper. It leaves a lot of the valuable wealth to most people who study Wuhan dialect during most dialect has disappeared and substituted. At the samet time, the meaning, pronunciation and inaccurate record of dialect has great reference value from this poetry in nowadays. This article is according to the Hankouzhuzhi Poetry (Jiangsu Education Publish, 1995), in addition, it also gets some dialects from Wuhan locals which is written in Wuhan Dialect Dictionary。 Compare to the Hankouzhuji Poetry (First written in 1985. Checking and annotating by Mingting XU and Changsong Ma, Wubei People Publish, 1985), taking some paragraphs for example to see it.

随着普通话的逐步推进,许多地方的家乡话已逐步被汉语普通话同化,但作为民族优秀非物质文化遗产之一的方言,不应随之消失。保护非物质文化遗产是我们的社会责任。
同时,近年来,随着许多非物质文化遗产的保护力度的进一步加大,越来越多的有识之士开始重视武汉独特的文化遗产,包括汉口方言在内的许多文化遗产的保护挖掘整理工作已受到方方面面的高度重视。
通过这篇论文我们可以看到,虽然武汉方言在一定程度上已经发生了不可逆转的变化,对于这些变化,我们要保持乐观的态度。因为语言本来就是相互融合、不断发展的,有旧元素的消失,就会有新元素产生,希冀某种方言千年不变,这是不现实的。但我们也要清醒认识到,方言是地域文化,也是历史的重要载体,尤其是戏曲、民歌、曲艺等领域,如果离开了方言,将会严重影响其表现力。
